HEALING IS A PROCESS

Updated January 20, 2012

A miracle is different then a healing. Healing can be best compared to baseball. To get to home you must go through first, second, and third base. Healing must first begin in the mind. According to the scriptures, when prayer is offered, faith drops from the mind into the soul. Your flesh will obey your spirit led confession of your divine healing and you will be HEALED

Claiming our Healing
We must begin to talk about our healing. The mind is the womb to the soul, and it must be stimulated to produce the seed of faith. We often find ourselves trying to talk-it-up and then we just collapse on the floor of defeat with our previous words mocking us. This is not a sign of losing our faith in God, we just lost the faith we had in our self. You don't need to worry about this temporary set back. For you can not heal yourself anyhow. Keep taking about how God has healed you. Remember in the projection of the natural seed, there are many seeds, yet only one is ordained to life. So, just keep talking till that seed of faith finds its resting place in your heart. Below are several steps to prepare your heart to receive your healing.
Confession
Our prophet taught us that we must first confess our sins. ...if she's got some hidden sin there somewhere? You could pour a gallon of oil on her, anoint her as many times, jump up-and-down, and scream; that devil will lay right there. Unconfessed sin... You'll never move him. No, sir." So we see, sin confession is part of the healing process. We all know, that only a sincere confession from the heart, will put sins under the Blood of Christ. After the seed of faith (the healing that you have been speaking of) drops into the heart, your healing becomes a revelation. Your confession of sin (we all have un-confessed sins of some sort) must match your revelation of healing. In others words, a revelation of your healing is given to you, that you might serve God better with a healed body, as well as, your sin confession enables you to walk closer to God. This explains why folks are healed in a sinful idolatry condition. Ignorant spells innocent. That is why God answers their innocent prayers for healing, while we that know the truth often go undelivered from our sickness. So we see, the revelation of our healing must match our confession. That makes our healing a deep soul searching matter. Brother Branham taught us that God's only reason for healing is to bring glory to Himself. Some people will never be healed for their faith does not match their confession. My prayer is, as Apostle Paul declared: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Fear
A recent article by the Heart Association in the January 2004 Better Homes magazine stated, that when a person takes their clothes off (at the Doctors office) they lose 68% of their hearing. The reason is this, people get nervous. What create nervousness in any situation, is standing between two options. In the case of sickness, you are between your option and the doctor's option, or unbelief and the Word of God, or between what you know about your sickness and what you do not know. Then fear is created. Brother Branham stated ...two element controls all nations, controls all people, controls all churches, controls individuals, is fear or Faith. When fear comes in faith leaves. Strangely, there are folks that have missed their healing because they were afraid that God WAS going to heal them, for we are scared of the uncertain. This fact reveals to us that fear cancels faith in all situations. Fear is an emotion. When the devil gets a hold of your emotions he has control over you. Emotions are from the five senses of the body. Recall in your mind which one of the five senses is creating fear. By God's grace, get control of that emotion, then you will conquer fear and stop nervousness. Once fear is eliminated you will hear the Word of God declare; ...with his stripes we were healed.
Anchor your Faith
Heredity only places certain percentage on the possibility of you inheriting a disease. Matter of fact, all medical practices are based upon the uncertainty of percentages. Faith will not rest in uncertainty. Brother Branham said; ...God always vindicates the truth. No matter what man--man... That's the reason today we can't have faith. See, faith is not based upon the shifting sands of man's theology. Faith can only be based upon the--the solid Rock of God's eternal Word. That's the only place that faith can rest. It's the only resting place that faith has, because the Bible said so. Not what the preacher says, not what papa said, but what God said. That's where faith is solid. To the believer, if God said it, that settles it. See, there's your resting place. And with such a shifting condition as we're in today, how can faith rest itself? You got to come back to the Bible, back to the truth. We can not have faith in something that is beyond the realm of human comprehension. In other words, believing that a fence post will heal you is not logic for a Bible believing Christian. Faith must rest in Truth. Truth has no uncertainty. Everything in this life is uncertain. Hebrews 13:14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. There is only one thing that is sure and that is God and His Word. We can now anchor out faith in the unwavering Word that was before the beginning of this world, and be HEALED.
The Vision
Mark 7:26-29 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter. But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs. And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter. We see that this Greek women was able by faith, to reach into the future dispensation (gentile age) and get her healing. Actually, we do the same when we are healed. By faith we bring the past or the future, into our life, by revelation. Seeing ourselves NOW the way we once was or seeing the way we are going to be brings our healing to past. Notice, Jesus at first tested her resolve, ...it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. In Matthew 15:24 Jesus had said; ...I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. but in Mark, He never mentioned the house of Israel, but mention the children's bread that was spread upon the table, and how the dog eats only the food on the floor. She was quick to catch the vision, that children, when they eat they leave crumbs everywhere. She saw she was included in the promise (future) of the Word. Sometimes God tests our faith in Him. We are taught by Brother Branham, that we must see ourselves in the scriptures. That is what the women of Syrophenician did for her daughter's healing. That is what Jesus did to fulfill the Word and that is what we do to daily walk with Christ. Seeing our self in the scriptures is the VISION of our healing. James 5:15 the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up.
