THIRD BABYLON
Updated January 20, 2012
How God's prophet lived his daily life can NOT be ones perfect pattern. This belief
causes human things to become accepted as the Word. Which was of all things, not
what Brother Branham intended. Apostle Paul, so that we would not get misdirected in our approach
to human behavior declared that even the humanizing of Jesus (and Jesus
was the only perfect human) was leading the church the wrong way. II CORINTHIANS
5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have
known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. True,
Brother Branham's was an example, but not in the way multitude think. How dare anyone pick out
just certain events in
Brother Branham's and over looking other examples. Wrongfully humanizing
Brother Branham is what this tract is about. It is certain important to have clear
understanding upon this subject, in this age where Satan has sought to twist
the Truth.
The name of the Tower of Babel, and the city of Babylon (2 different places, from
two different Biblical times) is translated from the same Hebrew word, "babel",
which means, "confusion". The Tower of Babel was constructed (in Genesis) for
unity, certainly not confusion. Genesis 11:4 And they said, Go to, let us
build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us
a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. What
caused their efforts of unity to deteriorate into the curse of confusion was that,
God stop them, in their efforts, for they were trying to build a human way to get
to heaven. They were men unity together with other men to magnified human
accomplishments.
The wickedness created at the Tower of Babel was the same evilness disguised in
city Babylon and hide later in Rome. Satan's original plan was, and still is,
to steal worship from God. Under Satan influence, Nimrod who build the tower of
Babel had three goals, (1) to build a strong nation, (2) to
propagate his own religion, (3) and to make a name for him self. History
proclaims that Nimrod was successfully in all three goals. In Nimrod, Satan program
had only begun. At the Tower of Babel (actually a temple) is where the trinity
doctrine originated, the worship of many different Gods. By the time of the Babylonian ere,
pagan worship had grown to include around a thousand Gods. In papal Rome, canonizing
saints produces even more objects of worship. Anyone who wrongly glorified man,
which is the escalation of man till he becomes an object of worship, instead of
putting Christ first and foremost, is in the spirit of Babel (confusion). They
might not think they are, but they are confused.
In the 1960's, while Brother Branham was commenting on the space race between
America and Russia (a race to get a man on the moon) he mentioned, "...trying
to fly over to the moon with another tower of Babel". While taking the
first step on the moon, Mr. Armstrong said "...it is one small step for man,
but one giant leap for mankind." unquestionably, that one moment symbolizes
the greatness of man, not the greatness of God. Today space exploration has become
a collative effort of many different nations of the world. The theme is, if we can
divide the glory among men (astronauts) we can accomplish more. Spiritual
speaking, when men join denominational affairs, which divides the glory
among the hierarchy, He is again, in that, man-made glorification system.
Denomination system aways produce this error, a so-called way to get to heaven that God
will cerainly destroy.
Bible history teaches us, Nebuchadnezzar, King of the state of Babylon,
appointed Zedekiah over Judah, and Zedekiah prospered during his reign, and
then rebelled. Prophet Jeremiah was constantly facing resistance as he tried to
get Israel to surrender to Babylon. He knew God could not bless the Jews as long
as they had humanizing their leadership (accepting the King of Babylon's leadership
for God's people). Humanizing is, men choosing other men to lead them, or men
choosing other men to follow. We see these conditions paralleled today, message
folks wrongfully humanizing Brother Branham, by magnifying his personal life,
making him a man whom they follow. He was a man, but real Christian are not
following him as a man, they are following the office of a prophet. There is
a big different in these two approaches.
We do not believe that Brother Branham personal life was our wave sheaf. We believe
that just the Word (he preached) that was manifested in his life was our example.
Brother Branham was only a portion of the Word manifested. Christ was the full Word
manifested. Because Brother Branham was only a part of the Word manifested, he made
mistakes. So we can see why justifying televisions, Christmas trees, going to movie
theaters, and our women cutting their hair and wearing pants (among other things),
are just the beginning of humanizing mistake. All the above, plus other things, Brother Branham in
some small measure was found lacking, as we all are. He preached strongly against
these worldly things. Once human behavior is rationalized there is nothing that can
not be justified (rationalized in the dictionary means "to devise self-satisfying
but incorrect reasons for one's behavior)." Worldliness was NOT what Brother
Branham expected, neither was his human life's aspiration, in his view, accomplished
as all men of God would say since the beginning of time. It is important to understand,
when a preacher speaks against worldliness, and then does not live as pure as he should,
it only proves he is a human. There has never been a God-call-preacher that lived
everything he preached; only the uncalled ones can do so. As long as we are
listening to what people have to say, looking to any man for our sample, whether we
admitted it or not, we are in the CONFUSION of Babylon. Humanizing Brother Branham
was total against what he said for us to do. He said to do what he said to do. Not
what he done. No man can walk where he walked, no man can even walk were the least
of us walk. How much more, following Brother Branham as a man is a mistake. It is
the spirit of idolatry. Most people are sincere. They are constantly questioning
the Branham family and others that walk close to God's prophet (everybody wants
to help) ...what would Brother Branham do? No one can answer that question
but Brother Branham, and he is not here to do so. Sincere, yes, honest, yes, trying to
get to heaven, yes, ...so were the people that build the Tower of Babel.
EARNESTLY CONTEND FOR THE FAITH
Don't never try to pattern your life after some preacher, after some priest, after
some great religious man here on earth, but pattern your life after Christ. He is
your Example. He set an example. He lived an example and presented it to the Church.
Oh, I hope that soaks so deep.
THIRST
But don't you never put no man, but the Man Christ Jesus, for your example. All men
will fail.
CHURCH AGE BOOK
Not for one moment do I bring a message to the people that they may follow me, or
join my church, or start some fellowship and organization. I have never done that
and will not do that now. I have no interest in those things, but I do have an interest
in the things of God and people, and if I can accomplish just one thing I will be
satisfied. That one thing is to see established a true spiritual relationship between
God and men, wherein men become new creations in Christ, filled with His Spirit and
live according to His Word. I would invite, plead and warn all to hear His voice at
this time, and yield your lives completely to Him, even as I trust in my heart that
I have given my all to Him. God bless you, and may His coming rejoice your heart.
Babylon, CONFUSION is exactly what it is. Preachers who make ONE of these humanizing
mistakes (using Brother Branham's personal life in a unscriptural way) can not preach
on any of the other holiness doctrines without become a hypocrite. Of course they do,
so we say, they are confused; they are in the third Babylon. Jeremiah of the O.T.
kept trying to get Zedekiah to see that he was already sold into idolatry, that's what
this lesson is about. Getting people to see, they might be in "God's promise land" but,
they have already forfeit their inheritance and are doom to the tribulation unless they
come back to the WORD that has been delivered to us.
We need to search individually for what God's answer is for our daily lives. There were
those who received a blessing under the Babylonians rule. But there were others who were
blessed MORE by not eating the King's meat (not agreeing with this confusion). Remember
Nebuchadnezzar in type, is like many today. He was trying to be good to his captives
(preaching the revelations of the hour), but he was offering them the wrong diet.
So we see, it is the same warfare between the carnal and the spiritual that has been
going on since the beginning of time. But the problem is, in this last dispensation,
Satan has succeeded, under the pale horse, in confusing the issues of what is, the
spiritual and what is the carnal. Brother Branham said "...only the elect will
really know which is the true Spirit." He also said"...Yes, harvest
time. The two vines that grew together and intertwined their branches are now to be
separated." This will not come easy. For these two spirits in the framework
of the church will try to win the other to their side. However, neither will succeed.
The battle will intensify more and more as time becomes shorter. During this war, the
false vine will be constantly proclaiming to be more authentic (deeper in the Word) than the true vine. Yet,
but the true vine keeps pointing to the Word trying to get the false vine to REPENT,
and turn from her worldly life style but she will not do so (summarizing from the Church
Age Book).
I believe it is time we look at every situation that comes our way and ask, and wait,
for God to give us a personal Word answer in a supernatural way. He will not fail to
answer the honest in heart. But to those who look to themselves or others for their
spiritual example will soon be found in error of the scriptures. Though they may not
be in the first pagan system or the second papal Rome organization, but they will be
counted, in the end, numbered among the captive in confusion.
